Job Description:
- Instruct student-athletes in ways to strengthen their Soccer Skills and teamwork skills.
- Skills in Soccer with a solid understanding of rules, gameplay, and training techniques.
- Exceptional Communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, staff, and administration.
- Proficiency in Coaching strategies and in leading and mentoring student-athletes.
- Monitor student-athletes academic and athletic performance.
- Proven ability to create a positive and inclusive team environment.
- Additional Duties as assigned to support the overall function of the athletic department.
- Potentially teach limited classes as assigned in Health & Human Performance.
- Serve as an assistant in Game Operations for selected sports.
- Contribute to student growth and development.
- Support Minnesota State University Moorhead's strategic priority of creating a campus community that is diverse, inclusive, globally aware, and just.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Commitment to academic success of student-athletes.
- Coaching experience at collegiate level or Club Level.
- Ability to recruit top level student-athletes.
- Effective communication and computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Skills/ability to integrate technology to enhance learning and teaching.
- Two years of Collegiate Soccer coaching.
- Knowledge of NCAA Division II and the NSIC conference rules and regulations.
