The Fan Operations evergreen roles include Fan Operations Venue Managers, Venue Coordinators and Gate Supervisor positions.
These positions are an essential part of the Fan Operations structure for the FIFA World Cup 26™, responsible for delivering a seamless, safe, enjoyable, and accessible fan experience across all stadium perimeters, fan information points, and accessibility services.
These positions are an essential part of the Fan Operations structure for the FIFA World Cup 26™ and are responsible for delivering a seamless, safe, enjoyable, and accessible fan experience across 16 venues and three countries.
Fan Operations Venue Manager:
- Ensure delivery of world class stadium services for all fans attending matches of the FIFA World Cup 2026
- Manage a team of Coordinators, Supervisors, and Volunteers delivering Fan Services at the outer perimeter of the stadium — including wayfinding, “Have your ticket ready” messaging, and general fan information support
- Serve as point of contact with incumbent stadium teams, Regional Venue Manager and Miami Headquarters
- Work closely with other FIFA departments onsite to ensure cross functional alignment for the fan journey
- Work closely with the Fan Operations Manager and Host Committee representatives to coordinate and implement the Last Mile, ensuring that all attendees have a safe, enjoyable and efficient journey to and from the stadium
- Responsible for the coordination, training and oversight of the stadium’s fan services and operations teams and assist in inclusion training and delivery
- Working with FIFA’s Sustainability and Human Rights department, manage some accessibility operations at the stadium including mobility services, sensory inclusion, and audio descriptive commentators
- Accountable for the delivery of all fan services offerings and ensuring FIFA standards are met
- Direct point of contact with FIFA Fan Operations vendors to ensure smooth delivery of services
- Ensure operational readiness, including equipment for Volunteers, internal procedures (briefings, Daily Run Sheets, DOT Plans, etc.), and coordination with relevant functional areas
- Collect feedback and contribute to post–Match Day reports and continuous improvement
Fan Operations Venue Coordinator:
- Serve as a point of contact for the FIFA Fan Operations Venue Manager on all Fan Services Operations
- Manage the Gate Supervisors, ensuring they are briefed, and have the operational equipment required
- Responsible for the deployment, briefing and overall management of the Fan Operations volunteers
- Ensure that critical event and venue information is available to fans and staff through multiple channels
- Coordinate with Audio Descriptive Commentators
- Oversight of the Restricted Item Storages located across the stadium
- Work alongside the Accessibility team to ensure all mobility and accessible services are delivered to a high standard
- Responsible for the maintenance and deployment of company assets and equipment
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and solve any potential issues
- Other duties as assigned by Fan Operations Venue Lead
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Operations, Sports Management, Hospitality, Crowd Management, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent experience in large-scale public events, festivals, stadium operations, or fan experience will be considered.
Work Experience
- Experience coordinating or supervising volunteers or large crowds at major events.
- Experience in stadium or festival operations, guest services, or Last Mile operations.
- Experience working with security, venue operations, or cross-functional teams.
- Experience in accessibility or inclusion-based service delivery is a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to manage fast-paced, high-attendance environments.
Language
- Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
Technology
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
