The Senior Retail & Licensing Manager will be a key member of the FIFA27 Commercial Operations team, and work in close collaboration with the FIFA Zurich Head of Licensing & Retail and other key individuals responsible for delivering Licensing & Retail efforts for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source, manage licensing domestic partners in coordination, collaboration and liaison with the FIFA Licensing & Retail (L&R) team in Zurich and aligned with the overall global L&R strategy to ensure the presence of a comprehensive, commercial and compelling range of FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ licensed products in Brazil.
- Develop and implement a national strategic licensing & retail plan in consultation and with approval of FIFA Licensing & Retail team in Zurich and aligned withthe global Licensing Strategy. This will include planning product assortment, pricing, and distribution channels to maximize revenue and brand exposure in line with the overall Strategy for FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™.
- Ensure compliance with FIFA Licensing, Legal, Financial and Commercial Guidelines working with internal stakeholders
- Oversee the implementation and manage the approval of all brand executions (licensed products, packaging, pos, etc)
- Manage and oversee the production, quality control, and timely delivery of licensed products coordinating with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors.
- Analyse market trends, consumer behaviours, and competitor activities to identify new licensing and retail opportunities and optimize sales potential.
- Manage relationships with retail partners, including brick-and-mortar stores, online platforms, and official FIFA Stores, ensuring brand consistency and driving sales growth.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, inventory levels, and consumer feedback to make data-driven decisions and implement corrective actions if needed.
- Collaborate with FIFA Legal and Brand Protection to enforce licensing agreements, protect intellectual property rights, and prevent unauthorized use of FIFA trademarks.
- Provide regular reports and presentations on Licensing & retail activities, including sales performance, market insights, and recommendations for improvement, to senior management and stakeholders.

- Work with the relevant teams in the Brazil entity to stay informed on key milestones, activations, local and domestic implementations
- Oversee royalty reporting, ensure timely payment of remuneration and report back to L&R team in HOF
- Manage the contract management process via FIFA’s online system (BrandComply) and ensure the licensees adhere to this process
- Assist the L&R team in Zurich with the selection and appointment of retail concessionaires
Education:Bachelor’s Degree or similar level of education in Marketing, Business Administration, Product Management.
Experience:Minimum of 7 years of work experience in licensing and/or event retail in Brazil with preference in the sports or entertainment industry. At least 3 years’ experience leading a team.

Requirements:
