Why I built it

My name is Joaquin, I'm from Argentina, and I’ve loved football for as long as I can remember.

Like a lot of people, I grew up with a ball nearby and a deep connection to the game.

Over time, I realized that football is much bigger than what happens on the pitch. There are thousands of people working behind the scenes at clubs, leagues, and organizations — but finding those opportunities isn’t always easy.

So I built The Bench.

The idea is simple: make football jobs and career opportunities easier to discover in one place.

This is just one of the projects I’m building around football and software — creating tools to help people get closer to the game.
