About the role

Identify and assess high quality players from around the UK who have the capability to sign for the Academy. Develop strong relationships with the appropriate regional Lead and contribute to a target driven approach to identifying and assessing young talent.

What you’ll do

* Identify players from professional and grassroots clubs within the assigned region who have the capability to sign for the Academy.

* Analyse talent by attending and assessing U13–U18 matches.

* Develop intelligence on games, players, competitors and fixtures to inform the regional lead.

* Produce player reports to support recruitment decisions.

* Operate within the Club’s scouting framework and methodology.

* Build relationships internally and externally to support recruitment activity.

* Travel to Newcastle when required to support player and family induction.

* Ensure recruitment activity meets EPPP and governing body regulations.

* Represent and uphold Recruitment Team standards.
