Backup Mascot

Nashville SC is looking for highly motivated individuals interested in being a part of the Major League Soccer team in Nashville. The ideal candidates will demonstrate initiative, the ability to multi-task, a willingness to learn and a positive attitude. Please note: This is a part-time, as needed Backup position.

Employment Type: Part-Time

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Study and learn Tempo the Coyote's mannerisms and characteristics

· Assist Tempo the Coyote at home matches

· Provide support at select appearances, including birthday parties, parades, school visits, hospital visits, charitable events, and other events coordinated by Tempo the Coyote

· Assist in maintaining the condition of costumes and props

· Other duties as assigned by Tempo the Coyote

· Please note this is a part-time, as needed Backup position.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Knowledge and interest in sports.

· Knowledge and interest in mascots.

· Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· Proficient in social media.

· Strong communication skills and telephone etiquette.

· Mascot Experience (College or Professional)

REQUIREMENTS:

· Available as needed for Tempo the Coyote appearances.

· Available to assist with home matches.

· The understanding that working in sports is different than being a fan. This position does not guarantee candidates will be able to watch games. Many valuable positions within the organization are behind the scenes, and they provide little ability to watch the games.

· Tempo the Coyote Height Range: 5'7 - 5'10.
