About the opportunity:
We are excited to engage with a pool of casual bar and kitchen assistants to support the Hospitality Manager within Everton in the Community.
You will support the Hospitality Manager by making sure that the Kitchen and Bar areas are managed and operated effectively at all times, ensuring high standards of customer service, cleanliness and health and safety. You will be required to prepare food ready for service and may be involved in some cooking, as well as waiting on tables and serving customers behind the Bar.
Other responsibilities you will cover as part of this role include:
- Under the direction of the Hospitality Manager, to prepare hot / cold food / drinks as and when required and provide a full hospitality service for day to day and evening events that take place within the EitC Campus.
- To provide a full bar service to customers, ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained at all times.
- To support the Hospitality Manager in their day-to-day role, as required.
- To undertake daily routines in accordance with hygiene requirements.
Safeguarding
- To understand the Club’s Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines.
- To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to an Anti-bullying environment.
Who we are looking for:
Essentially, you must have high a standard of customer service and knowledge of excellent health and safety practices. Our ideal candidate must be passionate about catering, hospitality and providing an exceptional service.
With previous experience of working in a bar/kitchen our ideal candidate will also demonstrate the below skills and experience:
- Experience of working in a customer facing environment, working with the public
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise work
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2) to allow working in the Kitchen area
The team is based at our Blue Base facility, this position is offered on a casual basis so our successful candidates must have flexibility to work when required.
