Here at Liverpool Football Club, we are recruiting for a Catering Assistant to support the preparation and setup of our retail catering outlets across the venue to ensure they are fully stocked, operational, and ready for service during events.
What will you be doing?
- Assist with the preparation and setup of retail catering outlets ahead of events.
- Ensure kiosks, bars, and retail points are fully stocked with required food, beverages, packaging, and consumables.
- Set up equipment such as tills, beverage equipment, and food service equipment as directed.
- Assist with the movement and distribution of stock from storage areas to retail outlets.
- Restock products and supplies throughout the venue before and during events as required.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to supervisors.
- Provide operational support to retail catering teams during events, assisting with the replenishment of outlets during service periods and the return of stock, equipment, and materials to storage areas.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in storage areas, back-of-house areas, and outlets.
- Follow food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures.
- Work closely with supervisors, managers, and catering teams to support smooth event operations.
Who are we looking for?
- You will have previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment (e.g. hospitality, retail, warehouse, back of house, events or similar high-volume setting).
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Well organised, with the ability to follow instructions and prioritise tasks.
- Physically able to lift, move, and carry stock and equipment safely.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work match days, evenings, and weekends.
- Able to stay focused and maintain standards under pressure.
Experience handling or moving stock in a busy environment, and an understanding of stock control or replenishment processes would be advantageous.
This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week, 5 out 7. Based out of Anfield Stadium.
