Main goal
The Commercial and Broadcast Operations Assistant supports the broadcast operations team with the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League and coordinates the tasks, projects and subprojects delegated to them, ensuring that UEFA’s commercial partners deliver on their commercial rights to the club competitions and adhere to operational procedures and guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinating match-related tasks and communication (e.g. match assignments, matchday report monitoring, information for on-site teams)
- Coordinating tasks and communication related to site visits (e.g. master plan, report monitoring)
- Supporting the broadcast operations team with on-site operations and at the match command centre
- Scheduling meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting the team in the set-up and monitoring of ICT platforms and tools
- Supporting the unilateral services delivery for UEFA club competition finals
- Performing as venue operations and broadcast manager at selected club competition matches
Requirements
Experience:
- from 1 to 3 years' experience working in an international environment, ideally in sports marketing, operations or broadcasting (for a rights-holder, broadcaster or agency)
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in sports management, business administration or another relevant field
Languages:
- English / Proficient
- Any additional European languages would be an asset
Other requirements:
- Relocation to Switzerland/France is expected
- Computer-literate, familiar with ICT platforms, proficient user of MS Office suite and AI tools
- Pragmatic, communicative team player able to multitask in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Able to provide outstanding results under stress, attentive to detail but also capable of seeing the big picture
- Independent, positive and comfortable in a multicultural environment
- Client-oriented with strong interpersonal and customer-service skills
- Good spoken and written communication skills
- Able to implement strict business rules and follow guidelines
- Available to travel (10-20%)
- Good knowledge of sport in general and football in particular
