Inter Miami CF is looking for a passionate and dedicated Coordinator, Operations (Academy) to join our Operations team. In this full-time role, you’ll play a vital part in maintaining world-class operations and facilities that meet the highest professional standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with all the academy’s operational aspects, including set-up, breakdown, scheduling, communication, event coordination, general maintenance, etc.
- Assist with managing the department’s equipment inventory, including maintaining accurate records and ensuring the availability of necessary materials
- Create standard operating procedures, checklists, and training manuals for all areas of oversight.
- Responsible for event recap notes.
- Assist with IMCF II matches in the stadium, serving as the POC for the venue.
- Execute other projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Facilities / Event Management, Maintenance, or related field preferred.
- Ability or willingness to learn how to operate necessary equipment/software to complete required tasks.
- Availability for academy matches and other events throughout the season (primarily evenings, weekends, and holidays).
- Event/operations management in sports & entertainment venues preferred.
- Very strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Team player able to handle a variety of tasks.
- Ability to speak and understand Spanish is a plus.
- A passion for fútbol is a plus.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout the assigned workday.
- Ability to work in various degrees of outdoor weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat or rain.
- Ability to work in various positions, including but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time.
