Position Summary: The Coordinator, Stadium Operations is responsible for assisting the stadium operations team with all necessary set ups and breakdowns for events at Nu Stadium in Miami, and ensuring all functions and event preparations are executed seamlessly. This role requires assisting in managing and leading part time staff and ensuring smooth set ups and breakdowns of events.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in prepping equipment and materials for events that take place at Nu Stadium.
- Maintain assigned inventory of all necessary event equipment.
- Help lead and assist part time stadium staff on event and non-event days regarding conversion setup and breakdown at Nu Stadium.
- Serve as a setup lead select events.
- Assist with facility upkeep.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Work flexible/varied hours as scheduled, including nights, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
- Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management/Administration or similar field.
- Stadium/Event Operations experience is a plus.
- Ability to interact with stakeholders professionally and confidently at all levels in the organization.
- Must be a self-starter who is able to multi-task, be a quick learner, and be able to work in stressful environments independently and within the group.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Bilingual preferred (Spanish)
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to move and/or lift to 50 pounds.
- This position requires work inside and outside of the building and some exposure to adverse conditions.
- Ability to work in various positions, including but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time.
