Calling all sports lovers! Would you enjoy sharing a cuppa, a good chat, and a genuine connection?

A friendly former Chef Manager in Fennell Bay is looking for someone to brighten his day with a weekly or fortnightly social visit—either at home or out and about.

He loves golf and fishing, and when it comes to sport, his heart belongs to Manchester United and the Melbourne Storm.

When he’s not following his favourite teams, he enjoys Clive Cussler adventure novels, action movies, and documentaries.

These one‑on‑one visits are all about companionship, shared interests, and meaningful moments—whether that’s a relaxed chat, an outing, or talking sport over a cuppa.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
