Join LFC Foundation and play a key role in developing the next generation of female footballers. As the Girls Academy U12 Strength & Conditioning Coach, you will create a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment where players can develop physically, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love of the game. Working within the Academy programme, you'll deliver high-quality coaching, provide individualised support, and help cultivate a positive, player-centred culture.

We're looking for someone with experience supporting young athletes, ideally within a football environment, and a strong understanding of youth physical and psychological development. The successful candidate will be innovative, adaptable, player-focused, and committed to safeguarding best practices, with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

What you will be doing?

LFC Foundation

- Contribute to the LFCW Academy blueprint / curriculum ensuring there is S&C provision which complements the football programme.
- Deliver – or oversee the delivery of – the U12’s Girls Academy physical development programme, including:
- Design and deliver individualised athletic development programmes as well as group training sessions
- Provide injury rehabilitation training of players as directed by the physiotherapist/sports therapist, in preparation for return to training.
- Work with Physiotherapist/Sports Therapist to develop and support an activation / prehab programme
- Manage facilities and equipment within the ETC so that it is well maintained and safe to use
- Maintain a comprehensive database of work conducted with athletes and coaches. Keep records which meet the standard required by The FA and the appropriate professional bodies
- Communicate with parents in the event of S&C related queries, generally and specifically to their children. Educate parents with regard to their role in supporting physical development, injury prevention, injury care, recovery, diet and other factors relating to lifestyle away from the Academy.

Other responsibilities

- Advise and direct other staff on the needs of players.
- Attend case management meetings and provide professional opinion
- Educate coaches on the S&C provision and embedding physical outcomes within technical sessions
- Work with the LFC Foundations Safeguarding Manager to ensure that the wellbeing and welfare of all players and staff is always an operational priority
