Head Men's Soccer Coach

Position Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• General knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures.
• Knowledge of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) rules.
• Demonstrated ability to instruct and supervise student athletes.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• USSF License is recommended, C or B is preferred.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of five years of experience as a varsity soccer coach is preferred.

Physical Requirements Specific to the Job:

• Will be exposed to hot and cold weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to traverse various athletic grounds and facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Position

• Developing and overseeing the school’s men’s soccer program, which includes planning practices, developing game strategies, and ensuring players' well-being.
• Manage team logistics, such as scheduling games, procuring equipment, and communicating with parents and school administration.
• Other duties as assigned.
