Position Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- General knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures.
- Knowledge of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) rules.
- Demonstrated ability to instruct and supervise student athletes.
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- USSF License is recommended, C or B is preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of five years of experience as a varsity soccer coach is preferred.
Physical Requirements Specific to the Job:
- Will be exposed to hot and cold weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to traverse various athletic grounds and facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Position
- Developing and overseeing the school’s men’s soccer program, which includes planning practices, developing game strategies, and ensuring players' well-being.
- Manage team logistics, such as scheduling games, procuring equipment, and communicating with parents and school administration.
- Other duties as assigned.
