We are seeking a driven and highly organised individual, to lead, manage and deliver all operational aspects of the Liverpool Women’s Professional Game Academy, ensuring the effective planning, coordination and execution of day-to-day activities that support an elite, player-centred environment. The LFCW Pro Game Operations Lead will work collaboratively with technical, medical and performance staff to provide a high-quality infrastructure that enables player development, wellbeing and performance, while ensuring compliance with governing body regulations and club standards.
What you will be doing:
Operational Planning and Delivery
- Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of all LFCW PGA operations, including training schedules, fixtures, travel and logistics.
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the LFCW PGA programme.
- Develop and maintain operational calendars aligned to the technical programme and competition schedule.
- Work in collaboration with the LFCW 1st team kit manager to develop systems for LFCW PGA player and staff kit and equipment coordination, allocation and inventory management.
Matchday and Training Logistics
- Oversee all LFCW PGA matchday operations including venue preparation, opposition liaison, officials, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate training venue logistics, equipment provision, and facility scheduling.
- Ensure all training and match environments meet professional game standards.
Governance and Compliance
- Act as the key point of contact for LFCW PGA audit, contributing to the ongoing compliance of the PGA licence.
- Ensure full compliance with governing body regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational records, policies and risk assessments.
Player Registration and Administration Processes
- Complete all administrative tasks for the LFCW PGA in accordance with FA and competition rules, including player registration, retention and exit administration and ensuring that all staff and player records are updated on the Football Administration System (iFAS).
Stakeholder Management
- Work in collaboration with the LFCW PGA Manager to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders including training and match facility providers, acting as a professional point of contact for all LFCW PGA operational matters.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in an operations, logistics or administration role
- Proven experience of planning and coordinating events, travel and schedules
- Experience supporting compliance and governance processes
- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in sport management, operations or business administration
- FA Safeguarding Children Course (or willingness to obtain)
- FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football (IFAiF) (or willingness to obtain)
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver to deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Awareness of safeguarding, player welfare and duty of care in youth sport
- Understanding of health and safety and risk management in a sporting context
- Proficiency using IT, including outlook, word, excel, PowerPoint and/or keynote
- Meticulous attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills
- The ability to create positive working relationships with all key stakeholders
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a professional environment
