The following is a non-exhaustive list of the responsibilities of the role:
• Repair works to the pitch in the form of divoting after warm up’s, half time and post-match use.
• Post-match pedestrian mowing using rotary and cylinder mowers.
• Setting up grow lights and moving them from storage compound into stadium post-game when required.
• Washing and cleaning of machinery after usage.
• Comply with all Health and Safety regulations and requirements within the Company and your role.
• Drive vehicles and handle equipment as required for grounds maintenance operations.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, colleagues and end users, ensure grounds management are kept informed of any issues that may be identified.
• Undertaking general maintenance operations associated with pitch.
• Work within a stadium team to ensure the upkeep of the stadium pitch.
• This job description does not contain all the duties and responsibilities that may arise in this role, you will need to undertake other duties as instructed and use initiative to ensure the safe operational functioning of the stadium.
• Expectation is to work at least 75% of home fixtures.
