Requirements
What you'll do
- Provide compassionate, non-clinical emotional support on matchdays.
- Offer active listening, reassurance and signposting to appropriate services.
- Be a calm, approachable presence in our designated wellbeing spaces.
- Respond to safeguarding and suicide risk concerns using agreed procedures.
- Attend pre-match briefings, post-match debriefs and complete basic reporting.
What we're looking for
- Mental health training and/or relevant qualifications.
- Experience supporting people experiencing emotional distress.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills.
- A calm, professional approach under pressure.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and professional boundaries.
The role
- Casual matchday position based at Craven Cottage.
- Regular availability for home fixtures preferred, opportunities for job sharing considered.
- Attendance at ad hoc events, where available.
