National Football Development Officer
Association of CollegesAoC Sport is pleased to welcome applications for the role of National Football Development Officer to support the growth of football across colleges in the UK. The role focuses on strengthening football provision, supporting facility development, widening community access, and building partnerships with colleges, The FA, County FAs and local clubs.
The postholder will coordinate and deliver football development projects, monitor impact, engage stakeholders, and help create high-quality opportunities for students to participate in football and physical activity.
The ideal candidate will have experience in sports development or project delivery, experience of sport facility development, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and a passion for increasing participation in sport amongst young people. Knowledge of safeguarding, inclusion, and the Further Education sector is desirable.

Location:
Mobile-Hybrid: this role is highly member-facing and as such will work in a hybrid way with a home-base, blending working time between remote-working and regular travel throughout England. AoC staff also have access to our regional offices in Stoke-Sub-Hamdon (Somerset), Wolverhampton (West Midlands), and Chorley (Lancashire), as well as our national head office in central London (Bloomsbury WC1).
Hours:
Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
