Partnership Intelligence & Effectiveness Senior Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Senior Manager, Partnership Intelligence & Effectiveness.
The Senior Manager is a proactive expert in data, measurement, and effectiveness. They collaborate with stakeholders across the club to ensure access to industry‑leading data and insights, and to build the capability to analyse this information and apply it to every aspect of the Partnerships business.
They lead the Intelligence & Effectiveness Team, ensuring it is structured to deliver across its core priorities. This includes setting and upholding high quality standards for the team’s regular outputs, as well as driving continuous development of the team’s analytical capabilities.
What will you be doing?
1. Lead the identification, curation and analysis of all data and intelligence that underpins and informs LFC’s partnerships business
- Build a holistic view of the data requirements of the entire partnerships business
- Source the data that meets these requirements, building excellent relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Ensure the data/information is readily accessible to stakeholders in the Partnerships department and wider club
- Establish and lead the process whereby our data is regularly and thoughtfully analysed for club partners and sales prospects
- Consistently review and evolve our data capabilities, maintaining a leadership position amongst our competitors in the sports & entertainment industry
- Identify and evaluate AI‑powered technology that improves the quality, speed and sophistication of partnership insights
2. Own the measurement, effectiveness and reporting on partnership performance
- Develop and implement a process for measuring and evaluating the performance of all partner campaigns
- Maintain a consistent reporting process across the entire LFC partner portfolio
- Analyse partner campaign performance and advise Partnerships Delivery and partners themselves on how to optimise performance. Attending meetings with partners where appropriate
- Develop a holistic view of the overall impact of partnering with LFC, enabling the club to present a credible and compelling ROI case to partners on their multi-million pound investment
- Build a bank of case studies showcasing LFC’s ability to deliver on critical partner objectives
- Constantly look for opportunities to evolve and improve our capabilities
3. Manage the delivery of high quality data and research to support the partnership sales effort
- Oversee a research capability which furnishes Partnership Sales with the insight and information required to secure multi-million pound partnerships
- This extends across a wide range of activity including industry category analysis, prospecting and contact sourcing as well as the collection and analysis of a broad range of data, market and industry insight
- Advise on key deal values such as commercial forecasting and deal modelling
4. Lead the Intelligence & Effectiveness team
- Mentor and lead the Intelligence & Effectiveness Team
- Distribute and oversee workload and priority projects
- Identify and proactively address development areas for individuals and the team as a whole
5. Support strategic and ad hoc projects
- Work closely with senior stakeholders with the Partnerships department and wider club on strategy projects focused on future growth of the Partnerships business at LFC
- Support VPs, SVP and ExeCo with ad hoc projects
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a candidate with significant experience in analytical roles across the sports, media, marketing, or entertainment sectors, with a proven ability to manage and interpret large datasets. The ideal applicant will be adept at leveraging AI and machine‑learning tools to enhance analysis, generate insight, and improve operational efficiency. A strong understanding of sports and marketing datasets, industry‑leading data suppliers, and marketing effectiveness frameworks (including IPA and econometric best practice) is essential. We’re looking for someone with strong commercial acumen who can translate data into compelling commercial narratives, apply structured analytical frameworks to simplify complex challenges, and build effective relationships across all levels of the organisation. High‑level stakeholder influence experience within a marketing leadership environment is also required.
