The Role

We are seeking a People & Finance Data Integration Analyst to play a key role in shaping how People, Payroll and Finance data flows across City Football Group.

Operating at the intersection of business and technology, you will work within our People function focusing on enterprise data infrastructure to identify, map and structure data, supporting the design and delivery of integration solutions that enable high-quality reporting and insight.

You will contribute to building and maintaining data pipelines, defining schemas and ensuring data is accurate, consistent and ready for downstream analytics. Working closely with Technology you will help translate business requirements into scalable data solutions aligned to enterprise architecture principles.

A key part of the role will be leading on master data governance across People and Finance domains ensuring alignment of core data entities, clear ownership and consistency across systems. You will act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring data solutions meet both operational needs and long-term strategic goals.

Your Impact

- Map and document People, Payroll and Finance data sources, structures and ownership.
- Support the design and build of data pipelines and integration solutions.
- Define schemas, data models and relationships to support analytical use cases.
- Validate, cleanse and prepare datasets for reporting and downstream use.
- Implement data quality controls, monitoring and governance processes.
- Collaborate with Finance, People, Payroll and Technology teams to align on data requirements and solutions.
- Produce clear documentation for data flows, schemas and integration patterns.
- Support and evolve master data governance across key entities and systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, efficiency and scalability, including leveraging AI tools.

What We Are Looking For

- Experience in data integration, data modelling or pipeline development.
- Strong understanding of data structures, schemas and entity relationships.
- Experience working with or contributing to master data governance or cross-system data ownership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to operate across multiple domains, particularly People, Finance or Payroll.
- Experience with SQL and/or Python (e.g. pandas, numpy).
- Exposure to AI tools for data analysis or process improvement would be advantageous.
