This role involves leading the running and ongoing development of the Redhill Advanced Centre for the Pre‑Academy on Thursdays at Donyngs Leisure Centre, ensuring the programme operates to the highest standards. Responsibilities include managing all session registers, databases, and safeguarding requirements; delivering clear and consistent communication and development feedback to players and parents, including conducting retain and release conversations; and overseeing the coaching provision and day‑to‑day organisation of the centre, such as staffing, equipment management, and liaising with the facility—particularly around school holiday schedules—to ensure smooth and effective delivery.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- To safeguard all personel when the centre is running and correctly dismiss and welcome the children upon arrival
- To ensure the high quality co-ordination and smooth operational running of the centre
- To ensure the deployment of appropriate football & sports coaches onto sessions.
- To colloborate effectively with the Pre Academy manager and Recruitment manager to ensure a safe and fun programme for our young players.
- When required, to effectively support the running and development of the clubs Pre Academy at Motspur Park.
- To colloborate effectively with the wider academy team, driving high standards, sharing best practice and establishing strong opportunites for participant transitions between programmes.
- To identify talent and organise coach delivery at the centre.
- Attend internal and external meetings as appropriate.
- To manage registers, databases and spectators at the venue and provide feedback to parents when appropriate.

Requirements

Essential experience:

- Working in a sports/participation based environment
- Experience of managing projects
- Coaching football to young people, specifically ages 5 to 10.
- Experience working as an individual as well as part of a team.
- Experience working with microsoft teams

Essential qualifications:

- FA First Aid qualificaiton
- FA Safeguarding qualification
- IT Literate - proficiency in Microsoft Office; including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent time management, organisational and planning skills.
- Knowledge of coaching standards and best practice
- Strong communication skills
- An understanding of and commitment to safeguarding and equality, diversity and inclusion within the workplace
- UEFA C Licence
