The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ Senior Business Intelligence Manager will lead the intelligence and performance measurement agenda for Brand, Marketing & Promotions, transforming data, research and consumer insights into actionable recommendations that support the growth and success of the tournament.
Reporting to the Head of Brand & Marketing in Brazil and to the Team Lead Business Intelligence & Marketing Strategy in Zurich, the role will act as a strategic business partner to Marketing leadership, building a comprehensive view of tournament performance across audience growth, brand health, fan engagement, digital behavior, marketing effectiveness and ticketing conversion. The role will serve as the primary link between the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ local business and FIFA’s central Business Intelligence office , which acts as the repository and governance hub for research, data, reports, methodologies and performance insights. The central Business Intelligence will ensure that relevant central intelligence is effectively translated and shared with local stakeholders, while also capturing local business needs, market context and emerging information requirements and communicating them back to the central office.
The successful candidate will connect multiple data sources and business perspectives to understand not only what is happening, but why it is happening and what FIFA should do next. The role will establish clear measurement frameworks, identify growth opportunities and performance gaps, and provide senior leadership with the intelligence required to make faster and better-informed decisions.
With the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ set to become a landmark sporting event in Brazil and South America, this role will be central to understanding fan behavior, optimizing investment and turning audience interest into meaningful engagement, participation and attendance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategy: Make sure that the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ Marketing and Communication Strategy will be accordingly translated to Brand, Marketing & Promotions.
- Business Intelligence: Using the strict connection with the FIFA’s central Business Intelligence office, establishing the data, research, KPIs and measurement frameworks required to assess tournament growth and marketing performance.
- Tournament Performance Framework: Build and maintain an integrated measurement framework connecting the department’s strategic objectives to measurable KPIs across awareness, consideration, excitement, fan engagement, audience growth, registration, conversion and ticket sales.
- Audience & Fan Intelligence: Develop a deep understanding of existing and potential FIFA Women’s World Cup audiences in Brazil, starting with the general key audience segments as already defined, and identifying niches, motivations, barriers, behaviors and consumption patterns to inform marketing, content and fan engagement strategies
- Ticketing & Conversion Intelligence: Partner closely with Ticketing, Digital and Marketing teams to analyze the fan journey from awareness and interest through registration and ticket purchase, identifying conversion opportunities, friction points and audience segments requiring additional marketing support.
- Marketing Effectiveness: Evaluate campaign and channel performance across paid, owned, earned and partner activity, establishing clear methodologies to assess reach, engagement, incremental impact, conversion and return on marketing investment.
- Research & Consumer Insights: In conjunction with the central BI office , lead the local research and insights agenda for Marketing, combining FIFA global research, brand tracking, quantitative and qualitative studies, social listening and behavioral data to identify emerging trends and support strategic decisions.
- Forecasting & Scenario Planning: Develop forecasts, scenarios and early-warning indicators to identify potential performance gaps and opportunities, particularly around audience growth, campaign effectiveness, fan acquisition and ticketing demand.
- Media & Communications Intelligence: Collaborate with Communications and Media teams to integrate earned media, PR, broadcast, social and cultural impact indicators into the broader assessment of tournament awareness and momentum.
- Digital & Fan Journey Analytics: Work closely with the central BI office, Digital Delivery and CRM teams to understand behavior across FIFA's digital ecosystem and optimize acquisition, engagement, registration and conversion journeys using first-party and behavioral data.
- Dashboards & Executive Reporting: Develop intuitive dashboards and executive-level reporting that highlight performance against targets, emerging trends, risks and opportunities. Ensure reporting prioritizes actionable insights rather than data volume.
- Investment Optimization: Provide data-driven recommendations to support marketing budget allocation, helping identify which audiences, channels, campaigns and initiatives are generating the greatest impact against tournament objectives.
- Leadership Communication: Present insights, opportunities, risks and recommendations clearly and confidently to senior FIFA leadership, translating analytical complexity into concise and compelling business narratives.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Business, Marketing, Analytics or related fields is highly beneficial.
- Relevant qualifications in data analytics, consumer insights, market research or business intelligence are beneficial.
Work Experience
- Strong experience in Business Intelligence, Marketing Analytics, Consumer Insights, Growth Analytics, Strategy or related disciplines, ideally within complex consumer-facing organizations.
- Strong experience transforming data and research into strategic business recommendations, with demonstrated influence on marketing, commercial or customer decisions.
- Demonstrable experience designing KPI frameworks, performance measurement systems and executive dashboards across multiple business objectives and data sources.
- Experience analyzing consumer journeys, audience acquisition, engagement and conversion, ideally within sports, entertainment, media, ticketing, e-commerce or other direct-to-consumer environments.
- Strong experience in marketing effectiveness and campaign measurement across digital, paid media, CRM, social, content and/or brand activity.
- Experience working with consumer and market research, including brand tracking, audience segmentation and quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
- Experience combining multiple sources of information — including behavioral, transactional, digital, media and research data — into an integrated business perspective.
- Experience with forecasting, scenario modelling and performance target setting is highly desirable.
- Proven experience communicating complex analysis to senior executives and turning analytical outputs into clear recommendations and compelling business narratives.
- Experience working in large-scale events, sports, entertainment, media or culturally relevant consumer brands will be highly beneficial.
- Demonstrable ability to operate autonomously in fast-moving and ambiguous environments, balancing long-term intelligence strategies with immediate business needs.

Technology
- Advanced experience with Business Intelligence and data visualization platforms, such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
- Strong understanding of digital analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics 4 and/or Adobe Analytics.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and experience working with large and diverse datasets.
- Experience with CRM, CDP, marketing automation and first-party data environments is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with paid media, social analytics, media monitoring and social listening platforms.
- Experience with market research, brand tracking and consumer intelligence platforms.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and modelling tools such as Python or R is beneficial, but not essential.
- Strong understanding of AI and its application to analytics, insight generation, forecasting and marketing optimization.
