Senior Data Modeller – CRM & Marketing Technology (MarTech)
About the role
A newly created role has arisen at The Football Association, and we're looking to appoint a Senior Data Modeller to take ownership of CRM and Marketing Technology (MarTech) data modelling across our ecosystem.
This role will lead the definition of customer and engagement data structures, ensuring business concepts are consistently defined and that delivery teams implement models correctly across platforms and downstream analytics. You will operate at the intersection of Product, CRM and Marketing, and Technology, driving clarity, quality and reuse across data models, definitions and metadata.
This role is based at the iconic Wembley Stadium, with an expectation of two days per week on-site.
What you'll lead and deliver
- Own the CRM and MarTech modelling approach across conceptual and logical data models.
- Lead modelling workshops with senior stakeholders to agree definitions, entities and relationships.
- Establish and maintain the CRM and MarTech Business Data Glossary.
- Set modelling standards and assure delivery through governance and working groups.
- Ensure CRM changes, integrations and reporting align with agreed models.
- Embed data quality, lifecycle and lineage considerations into modelling outputs.
- Support CRM migration and change initiatives with mapping and validation rules.
What you'll bring (essential)
- Strong experience leading data modelling in complex, customer-centric domains.
- Proven ability to facilitate senior stakeholder alignment and decision-making.
- Experience creating and governing data glossaries and definitions.
- Confidence operating in fast-paced change environments while maintaining quality.
Nice to have
- Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Exposure to campaign, segmentation and engagement reporting datasets.
