About the opportunity:We have entered an exciting new era at Everton Football Club with the opening of Hill Dickinson Stadium, and we now have a unique opportunity for an experienced and driven Stewarding Manager to lead the delivery of world-class stewarding operations across matchdays and major events.
You will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of stewarding operations across all matchdays and major events, playing a key role in shaping the matchday experience at our new home.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Leading the planning and delivery of stewarding operations for all fixtures and events
- Managing, developing, and deploying stewarding teams to ensure effective and compliant operations
- Ensuring full compliance with safety legislation, the Green Guide, and stadium Safety Certificate requirements
- Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders including police and emergency services
- Overseeing matchday operations, including briefings, live incident management, and post-event debriefs
- Driving a culture of safety, professionalism, and excellent customer service.
This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all supporters, staff, players, and visitors
Who we are looking for:Our ideal candidate will be a confident and experienced leader with a strong background in stewarding, crowd safety, or event operations.
You must have strong knowledge of UK safety legislation and best practice in spectator safety, demonstrated ability to lead large teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and have excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
We want someone who has a proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for delivering safe and exceptional fan experiences.

The role is permanent and will be based at Hill Dickinson Stadium, working 35 hours per week, plus matchdays and major events.
