Reporting organizationally to the Transport Side Events Manager, the Transport Side Events Supervisor will be a key member of the FIFA26 Event Transport team, and work in close collaboration with FIFA26 Events and Entertainment Team, Transport Team, Guest Operations Team, Operational Services Team and other key individuals responsible for delivering Transport Operations.
The main responsibilities and oversights of the Venue Transport Supervisor for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:
- Oversee transport execution at side event sites—manage load zones, parking, driver coordination, and shuttle staging to ensure smooth flow.
- Act as the transport primary point of contact on the ground side event in that city during tournament time, ensuring quick response and operational readiness.
- Develop and implement short-notice transport plans for unplanned or special events, coordinating routes, staging areas, and vehicle allocations.
- Liaise with Security, Guest Operations, Venue Transport, Fleet, and City Transport Control Centres to align logistics and access needs.
- Communicate directly with event leads, VIP guest managers, and functional areas to confirm requirements and translate them into operational plans.
- Maintain clear event logs, route maps, and incident reports for each side event to support debriefs and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with Fleet Operations and Dispatch to secure vehicles, drivers, and escorts for special events.
- Support access control measures and temporary road closures in collaboration with local authorities when required.
Education & Qualifications
- 2 years’ work experience: ideally within the football, sport, or event industry.
- Proven experience managing rapid-response operations or short-turnaround projects.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders under tight timelines.
- Strong interpersonal skills, proactive communication, and confidence in decision-making.
- Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from support staff, managers, and clients.
- Demonstrates the highest levels of integrity, professionalism, and commitment.
- Positive attitude, patience, and persistence in problem-solving.
- Strong cultural awareness and the ability to work in an international environment.
- Client facing communication and guest services experience is a plus.
