Main goal
The Editorial Content Services Programming Expert leads production management across a broad slate of video production projects within the Editorial Content team, overseeing the planning, coordination, management and delivery of digital and social content to ensure that internally produced projects as well as productions and services commissioned from external suppliers are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest editorial and creative standards.
Key responsibilities
- Leading the end-to-end planning, coordination, delivery and financial management of internal and ad hoc video productions across a broad portfolio of broadcast, digital, social and sponsor-funded projects, including vertical video content
- Drafting and managing requests for proposals, contracts, production budgets, schedules and workflows
- Leading the day-to-day management of appointed production companies and serving as their main contact
- Monitoring supplier performance, budgets and scheduled deliverables
- Acting as the primary production management contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring strong performance, accountability and value for money
- Managing operational planning and resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects
- Monitoring project spend, forecasting budgets and maintaining financial control across all assigned productions
- Supporting the delivery of additional programming, live production and centralised matchnight services as required
- Driving continuous improvements in production workflows, processes and supplier management
Requirements
Experience:
- More than 7 years' experience in TV production management within a sports, broadcast or premium content environment
- Strong experience leading multiple concurrent projects with tight deadlines and managing budgets, supplier contracts, internal teams and external production partners
- Delivering content for major sports events and supporting live match production or outside broadcasts
Education:
- Bachelor's in relevant field
Languages:
- English / Proficient
Other requirements:
- Relocation to Switzerland/France is expected
- Solid understanding of broadcast and digital content workflows, including post-production
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Knowledge of European football
- Familiarity with sponsor-led or branded content production
- Calm and decisive under pressure, particularly in live or fast-paced environments
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to balance editorial, commercial and operational priorities
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, evolving production environment
