The Marching On Together Supervisor plays a key leadership role in delivering Leeds United Foundation’s Premier League-funded community and education provision.

This role will lead a new strategic partnership between Leeds United Foundation, Leeds Rhinos Foundation, and Wellspring Academy Trust, delivering impactful programmes across schools and communities. Using the power of sport, education, and engagement, the programme supports young people, particularly vulnerable learners, through improved attendance, behaviour, wellbeing, and life opportunities.

You will oversee programme delivery across seven school sites, leading staff and ensuring outcomes align with Premier League funding requirements and the Foundation’s wider mission.

What You’ll Be Doing

Programme Delivery & Coordination

- Lead and coordinate delivery of the Marching On Togetherprogramme across schools and community settings.
- Deliver and oversee interventions aligned to four key themes:Engagement & ParticipationHealth & WellbeingBelonging & CommunityOpportunity & Thriving
- Plan staffing, schedules, logistics, and resource allocation.
- Ensure all activity meets Premier League Charitable Fund expectations and KPI targets.
- Organise trips, enrichment opportunities, and school-based initiatives.

Staff Leadership & Quality Assurance

- Line manage delivery staff across Leeds United Foundation and Leeds Rhinos Foundation.
- Provide support, supervision, and performance management (including 1:1s and appraisals).
- Conduct session observations and ensure high-quality delivery standards.
- Design and implement a CPD programme to support staff development.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

- Track programme progress using key data (attendance, behaviour, engagement).
- Monitor KPIs and ensure successful outcomes for funders.
- Complete mid-term and end-of-year reports for the Premier League and Professional Footballers’ Association.
- Capture case studies and showcase programme impact.
- Maintain accurate data in line with the Foundation’s reporting frameworks.

Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement

- Build strong relationships with:School leadership teamsPastoral staffExternal agencies and partners
- Support a joined-up approach to pupil support and interventions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance delivery, including small-scale funding streams.
- Represent the Foundation at meetings, events, and forums.

Safeguarding, Compliance & Inclusion

- Ensure all delivery meets safeguarding, health & safety, and equality standards.
- Act in accordance with safeguarding policies, including acting as a lead where required.
- Promote inclusion and actively challenge discrimination, bullying, or abuse.
- Ensure GDPR and data protection compliance at all times.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a motivated and experienced programme leader with a strong background in education, youth work, or community sport, and a passion for supporting young people.

Essential Qualifications

- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Learning Support, Education, or related field
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
- Behaviour management training
- Coaching qualification (FA Level 2 / UEFA C desirable overlap)

Essential Experience

- Experience delivering programmes in school or education settings
- Experience line managing staff and overseeing programme delivery
- Experience working with vulnerable learners, SEN, or behaviour interventions
- Ability to monitor impact using attendance and behaviour data
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders (schools, families, external agencies)

Essential Skills

- Strong leadership and people management
- Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to write reports and analyse data
- Calm, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach

Desirable

- Experience working on Premier League-funded programmes
- Experience across both mainstream and alternative education settings
- Youth work / sport development / education qualifications at Level 4+
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- SEN delivery experience
