Saints Foundation is the charity of Southampton Football Club. We support people in need throughout Southampton, providing life-changing opportunities to help our communities thrive.

What is the role?

As our Partnerships Administration Officer you will provide the administrative support to the Partnerships & Fundraising team while raising funds from corporates, individuals and community sources, to support our vital community work.

You will be the key function to ensuring that our partners and donors receive the recognition and fulfilment they need, whilst managing their stewardship through our CRM platform.

What will you be doing?

Your primary responsibility will be supporting the Head of Partnerships and Partnerships Manager with various administrative tasks such as arranging meetings, taking notes and collating information while keeping the CRM system, patron wall and digital content up to date and utilised effectively.

You will develop and coordinate administrative processes for the smooth running of the team and to ensure all information is collated and financial targets are hit while working with the finance team to ensure the debtors list is managed effectively and payments made in a timely manner.

You will support on the planning, creation and implementation of an annual calendar of high-quality fundraising events while creating an effective process for managing attendee information and all post-event surveys and communication. You’ll also support event leads to coordinate our events, ensuring that all sales are recorded and that information is sent in a timely manner.

Working closely with the Marketing and Communications team you will ensure all supporters receive timely and relevant content updates through CRM communications, to keep them connected with the charity and our impact and aware of upcoming events in advance.

You are proactive, dynamic and adaptable with outstanding organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities while scheduling busy diaries.


Essential Skills and Experience

  • A keen eye for detail, allied with the ability to implement processes and structure to collect information.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people from a range of backgrounds and form positive relationships.
  • Able to demonstrate a good understanding of the importance of stewardship and its role in successful fundraising.
  • Someone who cares about Southampton, and can demonstrate a connection with the focus areas that we address.
