We take huge pride in our environment and culture within the Club which focuses on development, inclusion and not being afraid to think differently.

We also firmly believe that a diverse workforce is a better workforce which will help us develop ideas, solve problems and ultimately grow Brentford FC.

We will never forget where we have come from, but we are excited about the future that lies ahead.

Job Overview

Brentford FC has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, innovative and progressive Physical Performance practitioner and leader. They will join our expanding women’s football department part-time, on a fixed term contract (approximately 16 hours per week). The Women's Performance Lead will drive the development and delivery of an integrated, player-centred performance programme that supports Brentford FC Women's First Team's ambitions on and off the pitch. Working collaboratively across football, medical, performance and operational functions, the role will ensure that all performance practices are aligned with the Head Coach's vision, maximise the time available with players, and create a high-performance environment that enables individuals and the team to thrive.

Brentford FC Women operates within an ambitious and evolving part-time performance programme, competing in Tier 5 during the 2026/27 season.

Players typically engage across three weekly contact points, with training delivered on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings and fixtures predominantly played on Sunday afternoons.

Tuesday and Wednesday serve as the primary development days, combining gym-based and on-pitch activity, with clear physical, technical and tactical outcomes expected. As such, the Women's Performance Lead will play a key role in shaping, planning and integrating performance provision across these sessions to maximise player development and team performance.

The role offers flexibility in how working hours are structured, with an emphasis on using time effectively throughout the week to support planning, review, communication and delivery. Additional performance and support staff are available to assist at training sessions and on matchdays, allowing the Women's Performance Lead to focus on leadership, coordination and strategic impact, whilst remaining hands-on where appropriate.

This is a role designed to balance performance leadership with flexibility. While the Women's Performance Lead will be expected to guide and influence matchday and training delivery, attendance at every session and fixture is not required. Instead, success will be driven by creating a connected, sustainable and high-performing system that empowers staff, supports players and delivers meaningful performance outcomes across the programme.

Being progressive, humble and respectful is important. We are looking for an individual that can come on a journey with us. We have plans to grow and evolve our women’s programme through thoughtful leadership and innovation; identifying where we can do things differently whilst also establishing Brentford FC Women into the fabric of English domestic women’s football.
