What is the role?
Southampton Football Club has an exciting opportunity for a First Team Sport Science and Medicine Work Placement Student to support the day to day running of the department, delivering a top-class service for First Team players and coaching staff. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced practitioners and gain applied experience within elite professional football.
This role is based on students undertaking a degree in either Sports Therapy, Sports Rehabilitation or Physiotherapy that requires a placement year as a mandatory part of the course.
What will you be doing?
You will follow a structured development plan throughout the season, designed to build your practical skills in musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis, manual therapy, injury prevention and injury rehabilitation.

This placement MUST form part of the overall degree programme for you to be considered. Do not apply if your placement is optional for your degree.
