Reporting organizationally to the Head of Technical Services, the TCS Contract Manager will be a key member of the FIFA Women's World Cup Brazil 2027 Technical Services team. The role will oversee the relationship, performance, governance and contract management of suppliers and service providers supporting tournament delivery. Working closely with Procurement, Legal, Finance, FIFA stakeholders and external suppliers, the role will ensure contractual compliance, supplier performance, financial control, risk mitigation and effective governance throughout the contract lifecycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee a diverse portfolio of Technical Services contracts. ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and performance standards.
- Developing and implementing a robust contract management strategy to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Support management of supplier and contractor relationships.
- Leading negotiations for contract renewals, amendments, and extensions to ensure favourable terms and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and create contracts, NDAs, and Statements of Work using established templates.
- Manage the governance and controls framework, in collaboration with project leads.
- Proactively manage contractual, financial and operational risks.
- Apply expertise in tracking contract spend, purchase orders, invoices and budget utilization.
- Assist in tender processes and supplier evaluations in accordance with FIFA procurement policies.
- Coordinate multi-supplier/partner collaborations and contribute to decisions on supplier proposals to continually enhance services, including the development of an evaluation process.
- Maintain tender, contract and invoice documentation.
- Ensure contracts follow approved workflows through DocuSign and relevant systems.
- Produce regular reports on supplier performance, risks and financial commitments.
Education
- University degree or equivalent higher education in Business, Law, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain or related discipline.
Qualification
- Proven track record in managing and implementing Governance Processes.
- Experience in running KPI/SLA driven engagement.
- Commercial and contract management experience.
- Proven track record in leading procurements.
- Strong understanding of suppliers and contract management.
- Industry knowledge and experience or understanding of the structure and organization of utilities and their core activities.
- Highly adept at consulting, negotiating, communicating, consensus building and facilitation. Strong political acumen and adaptable to a wide range of working environments.
Experience
- Strong experience of contract management, procurement or supplier management.
- Experience in major events is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of managing complex and high spend technology contracts across tier one telecoms and network providers.
