Reporting organisationally to the Senior Ticketing Operations Manager the Ticketing Electronic Access Control Manager oversees the Ticketing Electronic Access Control project for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™. Working in close collaboration with the Ticketing Operations team in Zurich as well as other key individuals responsible for the delivery of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the Ticketing Electronic Access Control (TEAC) project for ticket holders in close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders;
- Coordinate the definition of access control specification and the implementation of interfaces between the central ticketing system(s) and the access control solutions used at the competition venues;
- Manage the TEAC technical requirements, configuration and ticketing system related configurations required for EAC system integration;
- Development of integration plan and system requirements;
- Issue access control documentations and organize workshops, tests and inspections with all relevant parties;
- Support the definition of flow data for ticket holders and define access rules based on available variables and according to operational concept and established flow data;
- Monitor the access control interfaces and facilitate issue resolution with all relevant parties;
- Setup the ticketing system to support access control testing (integration, stadium and match day);
- Support the mobile ticketing project and provide required support for configuration, deployment, testing and maintenance;
- Prepare training materials and deliver trainings in preparation of match day operations;
- Oversee and coordinate the operations of several access control venue staff during the tournament;
- Monitor the access control interfaces and data exchange, as well as facilitate issue resolution with relevant parties;
- Reporting on data exchange and Match Day operation;
- Support general ticketing operations for FIFA events
Education / Experience
- Bachelor degree or similar level of education
- Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, technology minded, efficient and accountable team player
- Ability to adapt to working with different environment and time zones
- Experience in Electronic Access Control, Facial Recognition, IT system, Integrations or Data Exchange projects
- 3-5 year in ticketing project for international sporting events with experience in managing Electronic Access Control systems
- Native‑level fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and English; proficiency in additional languages is valued.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Teams, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
- Strong IT proficiency, especially with ticketing systems including understanding of networks and databases
- Ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities
- Ability to coordinate across internal functional areas as well as external stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, technology minded, efficient and accountable team player
- Ability to adapt to working with different environment and time zones
Certifications & Requirements
- Willingness to travel to host cities.
- Availability to work extended hours during test events and tournament time.
- Experience working in international, multicultural environments preferred.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
- Right to work in Brazil
- Ability to re-locate to Rio de Janeiro.
