What is the role?

Southampton Football Club are seeking a commercially driven and proactive Partnership Sales Executive to support the continued growth of our commercial partnership strategy.

This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to develop within a high-performance department and own responsibility for key products in our partnership portfolio.

What will you be doing?

You will proactively identify and develop new commercial partnerships through prospecting and lead generation, creating a strong pipeline of opportunities for player and match sponsorship as well as regional partnerships.

Sustaining revenue growth by developing new business clients into repeat long-term partners, you will aid the ongoing account management of partnerships to ensure a high standard of delivery and client satisfaction. You will manage the end to end sales process, including initial contact, sales presentations and ultimately closing the agreements.

You will support the Partnerships Sales Lead and Head of Partnerships in official partner acquisition and assist with the preparation of brand proposals, presentations and sales materials.

You are a proactive and results-driven individual with a strong track record of success in a sales environment and a focus on group success as well as personal achievement. With a natural skill for relationship building, you are comfortable opening conversations and building trust with both potential and existing partners, as well as within your team.

You are confident in creating and delivering high-standard presentations and sales materials with a genuine interest in the commercial landscape of sport and a willingness to embrace football as an interest or passion.

Due to the nature of the role, matchday working is required across both Men’s & Women’s fixtures. Plus, partnership events that may involve evening and weekend working.
